Zachariah Axel Ziegler was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. His father, Warren Ziegler, was a renowned author, speaker, and spiritual guide. His Mother, Mandy, worked as a professional speaker and educator.

From the age of 7 he has attended acting classes and was a member of school acting clubs through his high school years. Zach quickly recognized his love of performing when he played Applegate in a production of Damn Yankees. In his youth, Zach also discovered a love for ice hockey. While he attended the University of Colorado, he majored in French (with a focus on Film Noir) and Astronomy.

After graduating college, he coached semi-pro and professional Ice Hockey for 8 years. Zach credits his athletic career for developing his work ethic and drive for success. Culminating in a Stanley Cup Championship in 2014, as a member of the Los Angeles Kings Hockey Club, Zach opted to return to acting in 2015. Zach has appeared as a lead in multiple productions on stage and can frequently found at Upright Citizens Brigade in Hollywood. Zach is studying under Yale University acting coach Gregory Berger-Sobeck.
