Chad Neace is presenting a night of #comedy at Santa Monica Theatre. This is a monthly series on the first Saturday of every month. You will see Hollywood Comic’s live. There are a variety of people and funny stories to be told. Below is our Standup acts for September 3rd:

Rick Loe is an attorney and financial advisor originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. As such, he is obviously not very funny. Seriously, don’t waste your time. On top of that, he’s never done stand-up before in his life. I’m warning you, he’s going to bomb big time. Sit through his set at your own risk…

Joe Menente is an LA based musical comedian who infuses traditional stand-up with musical comedy and parody to take you on an explosive, high energy journey through out the the deepest darkest depths of the human soul. He was a select at the 39th Annual San Francisco International Stand-up Competition and was a semi-finalist in the Sacramento Comedy Competition in 2015 & 2016. And was recently featured in 2016 New York Funny songs festival as well as at the New Faces show at The Ventura Comedy Festival.

Laniea Dominguez In 2010, Laniea was dared to try stand-up comedy and immediately, she was hooked!
Giving back has always been her passion. She is accomplishing this by helping non-profit organizations, & individuals in need, by producing/emceeing great comedy shows to raise funds & awareness of their causes. Some of the causes she’s worked with are: Casa Colina Hospital; The Ronald McDonald House; La Sierra University; Solidad Enrichment Action in LA; & American Cancer Society- just to name a few.
In addition, Laniea has also helped individuals with medical necessities alleviate their financial burdens, by raising funds for medical costs, and basic needs (such as food, transportation, and utilities).

Sean Williams’ brand of self-deprecating humor has its roots in his role as baby of the family. Sean finally got serious about
stand-up in 2010. He made his comedy debut at The Ice House and has been keeping audiences laughing ever since. Sean covers everything from yo-yo dieting to tech support nightmares
to married life through a mixture of stories, jokes and crowd work. He has performed at the San Diego Comedy Festival and the Idaho Laugh Festival, Comedy Store, Ice House, Third Street Live and Pechanga. Sean is the cofounder of Home Invasion Comedy, the team that delivers stand-up comedy to private parties. Sean and his crew have played living rooms and backyards throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

Chris Dunham paints a picture where we can laugh at ourselves and the world around us. He’s best described as passionate and silly or as he says, “You can’t change the world, but we laugh about it.” Recently, he won the Orange County Comedy Competition at the Irvine Improv Comedy Club. He’s been a featured comic for NORML and been named to “Best of the Fest” at the San Luis Obispo Comedy Festival. Make sure to check him out on Sirius XM Radio!

Lukas Seely started comedy back in his hometown of Billings, MT before relocating to Seattle,WA in 2004. Lukas soon became a crowd favorite in Seattle Comedy scene and had since moved to Los Angeles, California where he regularly performs at The Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store and many other venues.

The comedic poise he brings to the stage is impressive. His contagious laugh makes audiences feel as if they were sitting at home in front of the fire place. His hilarious stories about his life in a country city and other life experiences make his performance a knock out punch.

He was nominated as an Emerging Comic in the New York Underground Comedy Festival. Recently he opened for Bill Burr on the “Billy Red State Tour.” Lukas has also worked w/ such names as Dane Cook, Damon Wayans, Russell Peters, Bobby Lee, Sarah Silverman, Ron White, Greg Giraldo, Daniel Tosh to name a few.

Lukas performed his stand-up on FOX’s “Laughs,” and Showtime’s “Louie Anderson Presents” currently on His cooking skills were on display on TNT’s “On The Menu” with Emeril Lagasse.

For the 2015 NFL season his is the 49ers Official Goofy Weather Man for the Series ” The Faithful Forecast.” on 49ers Studio.

That is an amazing Line Up, am I right? We look forward to seeing you at this private black box theatre. This is an experience like no other on Ocean Ave in Santa Monica.

Please feel free to bring your favorite beverages and some to share. Show contribute is $10. The proceeds go back to the theatre space.

Please arrive at 7:30 to say ‘Hello’ before the show starts. The show will start at dusk.

Santa Monica Place Structure 8: a close walk with the first 90 minutes free $1 for the next hour.

If you are feeling a little Flush, there is a parking structure under 1725 Ocean Ave for a higher price.
