A writer for film, television, and stage, Douglas Stark recently premiered “You Could Be Here Now” with Santa Monica Theater.  Last year, Stark’s play “A Better You” premiered at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.  Currently finishing the fourth play in the “trilogy” to go along with “The You We Knew.”

Stark is currently working with Energy Entertainment to develop feature based on his one hour drama pilot “Shining City” – a finalist in the LaunchPad Pilot competition. Previously, was head writer/producer for “Cost of Capital” award-winning web series moving into 2nd season.

Received filmmaking grant to write and direct extended short “SuperFans” for DIRECTV/FILMAKA. Previously, was head writer for digital horror project “The Scary City.”

For television, Stark wrote for Bruckheimer TV/CBS legal drama “Close to Home, as well as the Emmy winning “Law & Order” franchise.  Stark was a writer on the critically-acclaimed series “Falcone” and several other dramas.
