Damla Coskun was born in Ankara, Turkey and decided to pursue her passion for acting at the age of 14. She then pursued training in AMDA-LA’s B.F.A. Acting Program — where she has been able to use her diverse cultural background in fostering a unique performance perspective. While at AMDA, Damla has performed as Katherine in the Taming of the Shrew and as the Landlady in the staged reading of 1984. She is very excited for her up coming role Lucy in Chimpskin (in Hollywood Fringe Festival). This is Damla debut at Santa Monica Theatre. She is reading many roles in Romeo and Juliet; her favorite being Peter.
